First time eating at the restaurant though I've had it many times at the Taste of Chicago booth. We had the jollof rice with fried fish and one with chicken stew. It was delicious and the servings were plentiful. I will definitely come back again and I highly recommend.

I have never in my life had better food. Bruh. Me and my girl came here to eat. I was a bit skeptical because of the disorganized scenery of the interior but the food is A1. Ive never had a meal better than the food that was cooked here. No exaggeration.

Yo, Vee-Vee's is the real deal. I grabbed the Jollof Rice with goat meat and fried plantains—total came to about 25. The rice was perfectly spiced, not too heavy, and the goat was tender and flavorful. Plantains were on point, crispy on the outside, sweet on the inside. Delivery was quick, and the food came hot. If you're looking for authentic African flavors in the city, this spot's a must.
